Mike Holm started painting in Olathe in 1997, working on weekends with a couple of ladders and a Mustang hatchback.  The Sprint Corporation was his fulltime job, but Mike worked weekends painting houses for extra money.

He grew up around the trade helping his Dad, who was a painter for the local painter’s union in Kansas City.  Mike, while in college, painted homes in the summer to pay his tuition and living expenses.

He continued painting, on weekends, while working for Sprint, before leaving to create Olathe Painting in 2001.  In 2013, Olathe Painting changed its name to Holm Painting and has been servicing the entire metro area of Kansas City and Lawrence ever since.
